The Colchester Gladiators are delighted to introduce a strategic partnership with STC Teamwear as the club’s technical kit partner for the coming season. STC Teamwear are renowned as a global leader in providing high quality teamwear, both on and off the field for national sports programmes and prestigious institutions, such as Oxford and Cambridge University and the British Army. The Gladiators will be working with STC Teamwear to expand our offering to players and fans as we work hard to develop a meaningful presence and branding within the community.
STC are already well known in Colchester as kit providers to both Colchester Rugby Club and Hockey Club, and so the Gladiators are delighted to add their name to the portfolio. Gladiators’ Chairman David Crane was delighted by this new partnership, saying “The Gladiators have tried to develop merchandise offerings in the past, both in house and through a number of third parties, but we believe this is a real turning point for the club. This is an opportunity to offer our members and fans some exceptionally high quality products, tailored and customised if they wish, at very affordable prices. This represents a significant achievement for the new management committee and for the volunteers who have helped marshal this deal from the beginning, in particular Josh Milgate who has shepherded the process admirably. I’m delighted to be on board with STC, and I’m excited to be able to review and expand our brand further in the coming months”. The Gladiators’ online shop is already live and we encourage everyone to visit and review the range of items on offer – https://www.touchlinestores.
Jamie Warner, STC Teamwear, Managing Director added “With American football continually growing in popularity across the UK it is great for STC to become involved with Colchester Gladiators as the Technical Kit Partner for the next 3-years. The off-field range is ideal for players and supporters but it is the involvement and experience of the Club with helping us develop our on-field jerseys and pants that is the exciting part.”
